The Interlake : a land and its people / compiled and written by Martin Marquardt, F.R.E.D. Information Programmer.
More than 55,000 Manitobans can claim a certain distinction from the rest of the province's population. For as well as being Manitobans, these people are Interlakers. The fact that they call themselves Interlakers indicates something of the uniqueness of the people and their area. The purpose of this book is to look at these people and the area they live in. The book has been prepared under the Fund for Rural Economic Development (F.R.E.D.) Program. It is intended for use by students and adults in the Interlake who wish to take a look at the geography of their area. Information for the book was obtained from several government departments and from various publications.
