Thirty-five letters of humour, love, and compassion. Jennifer was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 199. In order to communicate with her through the trial of surgery, chemotherapy and radiation, Oliver and Maudie, two precious Siamese cats who adored her, wrote the letters with help from their Live-in-Person (Lip). The letters span a two-and-one-half year period. The letters were a non-threatening, non-evasive way of keeping in touch with her during this difficult time, and, the letters did not require a reply. With humour and insight, Oliver and Maudie describe their lives -- living with Lip, their neighbours, events and generally their philosophy on life.
